Self Reflection: I could have written more

In this piece of writing I talked about when the babies come.

My next step is write a bit longer

The laughing owl is a medium bird found in NZ and is now extinct.


The laughing owl lays 2 eggs in September and October. Eggs are hatched in October and November. The eggs are looked after by their mother.

Narrative: Bella the Dog

  Bella  was a nice  dog  but her step sisters they were so mean, they were bossy. 

Her sisters names are Sasha and Lily.  One day Bella if she could go to the dog park.  "No" said Lily and Sasha.  "You can't go to the park because you have to clean the house."

As Lily and Sasha said no, Bella went to her room as she went to her room she made a plan to escape so she could get away from drama.

                                         

My Narrative

It   was   a  beautiful  day  of  fun.  we  went  to  go   on  the  haunted  roller coaster.
While we  were  waiting  my  two brothers'  were   scared  to  go  on.  As  we  went
to  go  up and down  but it stopped  at the top because  the tr all  broke. Then  everyone
started to scream. The  police started to come and the ambulance and  helicopters came
to rescue everybody and everyone was safe.

The  big giant  swing.

When I went on the giant swing I was so excited

to go on it and I also felt like my tummy was  going up and down. And while
my tummy was going up and down.

I saw how scared my friend was and cheered her on. She took a big deep
breath as she was being pulled up into the very tall tree.

Student Comment: In my writing, one of my goals is to re-read writing to check it makes sense. I did show this goal here because  all sentences make sense. In my writing, one of my goals is to express feelings about the topic. I did show this goal here because is expressed how I was feeling. My next learning step is to keep working on my spelling. Teacher Comment: Savannah, this is such a great piece of writing.  You have improved so much with your sentences.  I like the way you have used adjectives to help describe.  Your next step is to re-read and check if you have repeated your sentences.  - Mrs Hunter

Maths Week

We were asked to make a Marble Run.  I made it with Andrea.  It works very well and I'm proud of it.


This is my chalk drawing. I went outside and I drew a flower in the middle then the sun on the outside.






This is my scavenger hunt collage, I had to find circles and different shapes.







I did an owl drawing but I lost it.
