  • wood for snares and tools
  • Harakeke for  ropes, fishing lines and nets
  • Bird and whale bones for fishhook

Self Reflection: I could have written more


In this piece of writing I talked about when the babies come.


My next step is write a bit longer

The laughing owl is a medium bird found in NZ and is now extinct.


The laughing owl lays 2 eggs in September and October. Eggs are hatched in October and November. The eggs are looked after by their mother.

Narrative: Bella the Dog

  Bella  was a nice  dog  but her step sisters they were so mean, they were bossy. 

Her sisters names are Sasha and Lily.  One day Bella if she could go to the dog park.  "No" said Lily and Sasha.  "You can't go to the park because you have to clean the house."

As Lily and Sasha said no, Bella went to her room as she went to her room she made a plan to escape so she could get away from drama.

My Narrative

It   was   a  beautiful  day  of  fun.  we  went  to  go   on  the  haunted  roller coaster.
While we  were  waiting  my  two brothers'  were   scared  to  go  on.  As  we  went
to  go  up and down  but it stopped  at the top because  the tr all  broke. Then  everyone
started to scream. The  police started to come and the ambulance and  helicopters came
to rescue everybody and everyone was safe.
